About the Role:
The Maintenance and Grounds Worker is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and caring for MBWR properties and grounds. This role supports departmental goals by performing a variety of assigned maintenance and upkeep tasks as needed.

About the Role:
The Maintenance and Grounds Worker is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and caring for MBWR properties and grounds. This role supports departmental goals by performing a variety of assigned maintenance and upkeep tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Performs routine maintenance and upkeep of roads, trails, facilities, and grounds
- Operates, cleans, and services equipment and tools
- Completes lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and weed control
- Assists with minor repairs, pressure washing, and general upkeep
- Helps set up pavilions and supports public events
- Follows all safety guidelines and performs other assigned duties
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ verifiable job related employment experience required.
- Must possess certification of “Mandatory Reporter Training” or obtain certification during the first week of employment.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license and an insurable driving record according to Tribal insurance guidelines.
- Ability to work odd and irregular hours, as needed.
- Must successfully pass the required criminal and character background check.
- Ability to travel and participate in required training, leadership development, and other events.
- Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities of this position adequately and successfully.

- Ability to lift 50–80 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Follows instructions and safety procedures
- Works independently and stays task-focused
- Accountable, reliable, and communicates effectively
