About the Role:
The Maintenance and Grounds Worker is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and caring for MBWR properties and grounds. This role supports departmental goals by performing a variety of assigned maintenance and upkeep tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Performs routine maintenance and upkeep of roads, trails, facilities, and grounds
Operates, cleans, and services equipment and tools
Completes lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and weed control
Assists with minor repairs, pressure washing, and general upkeep
Helps set up pavilions and supports public events
Follows all safety guidelines and performs other assigned duties

Core Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of two (2) years’ verifiable job related employment experience required.
Must possess certification of “Mandatory Reporter Training” or obtain certification during the first week of employment.
Must possess a valid state driver’s license and an insurable driving record according to Tribal insurance guidelines.
Ability to work odd and irregular hours, as needed.
Must successfully pass the required criminal and character background check.
Ability to travel and participate in required training, leadership development, and other events.
Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities of this position adequately and successfully.
