Primary Objectives
The Receptionist is a key line-level position responsible for all clerical support functions pertaining to the Recreation Department. This job description is not an all-inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities of this position. PCI Employees are expected to perform all duties and responsibilities necessary to meet the goals and objectives of applicable programs and departmental objectives, as assigned.

Essential Functions
- Provides administrative support functions including preparing, typing, and proofreading a wide variety of correspondence and reports.
- Keeps a current inventory of department consumable supplies, replenishes stock, by requisition, as needed. Unpacks, checks, stores, and/or distributes incoming supply orders as directed.
- Collects and maintains applications
- Responsible for managing money bag for all Recreational sports and activities.
- Responsible for making daily deposits of Recreation money bag.
- Assists in logging all incoming and outgoing mail for the department.
- Serves as contact person for copy machine supplies and maintenance.
- Maintains social media page.
- Prepares and maintains accurate and complete records and reports.
- Demonstrates appropriate customer service skills when greeting the public and/or directing phone calls, mail, and clients to the proper event.
- Maintains documents, files, and information for department staff.
- Maintains a calendar of scheduling for departmental staff.
- Works independently on tasks and projects as assigned
- Performs other duties as assigned by the appropriate person.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must possess and maintain First Aid/CPR certification or obtain within ninety (90) days of employment.
- Must possess certification of “Mandatory Reporter Training” or obtain certification during the first week of employment.
- Must possess “ServSafe Certification” or obtain within thirty (30) days of employment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in English, spelling, punctuation, and basic writing skills.
- Must have working knowledge of computers with the ability to work in a Windows environment with various software programs such as Word, Excel, etc.
- Skilled in operation of standard office machinery including a calculator, copier, facsimile, and other similar equipment.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record according to Tribal insurance guidelines.
- Ability to work odd and irregular hours, as needed.
- Must successfully pass the required criminal and character background check.
- Ability to travel and participate in required training, leadership development, and other events.
- Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities of this position adequately and successfully.

- Must possess a high level of maturity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be able to effectively work and communicate with other staff members and with the general public.
- Ability to remain engaged until assignments are completed and overcome obstacles.

- The starting pay will depend on factors such as experience level and skillset.
